This update is only for the Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, and Epic Games versions of Unleashed. But there is one console that does not get this update, which begs the question too: where are the Switch players? When I went to the Game Updates page on the official Hot Wheels Unleashed website, there was no sign for Cross-Play being released on the Nintendo Switch version. Sony, Microsoft, and PC players will now be able to play together online. They will also be able to access User Generated Content such as custom liveries and tracks created in Track Builder across all platforms as well.īut with this update, comes with a big problem. And in this update, drivers will now be able to play with other people no matter what console they are playing on. Milestone, the developers of Hot Wheels Unleashed, have just released their update on cross-play.
